A clear summary of what to expect at the end of a CM Beyer engagement: handover, final billing, data retention, and how to come back to us in future.
Final deliverables
All contracted deliverables are issued no later than the engagement end date. For project work, this is typically the final report, asset pack, or recommendation document. For retained work, this is the final period’s deliverables and a closing summary.
Handover
Where relevant, we’ll provide a handover document covering:
- Active accounts, logins, and credentials transferred to you
- Files, design assets, and source materials delivered
- Open items, pending decisions, or recommended follow-up
- Contacts at any third parties we’ve engaged on your behalf
Final invoice
The final invoice is issued within five business days of the engagement end date. It will include any outstanding fees and reconciliation of any deposits held. Payment terms remain as per your engagement terms.
What we keep
After an engagement ends we retain a minimum set of records for legal and regulatory reasons — engagement contracts, invoices, and correspondence — for seven years. Working files and project materials are typically retained for two years and then deleted unless you ask us to keep them longer. See how long we retain your data for the full schedule.
Working with us again
Returning clients don’t need to start from scratch. We retain a short summary of past engagements (with your permission) so future work can build on what we already know. If you’d like that record removed, just tell us.
Feedback
We ask every client for honest feedback at engagement close. Saying what went wrong is more useful to us than saying what went well. If there’s anything we should have done differently, please tell us — by email, on a call, or via our feedback form.
