What we do
Real money for real good work
The Beyer Foundation is the grant-giving initiative of CM Beyer Limited. We put grants of up to £10,000 behind small businesses, social enterprises, and community projects across the UK that create genuine environmental or social benefit.
We are not a registered charity. We are a business-funded grant programme with a straightforward purpose: to put some of what our commercial work generates back into things that matter. You can spend a grant on anything within your project, apply in minutes, and take up optional mentoring from the CM Beyer team.

Common questions
Good to know
Is The Beyer Foundation a registered charity?
No. The Foundation is the grant-giving initiative of CM Beyer Limited, funded by the business’s commercial activities. This keeps things fast and light — no public funding cycles, no grant committee delays.
What can I spend the grant on?
Anything that genuinely advances the project you describe — equipment, materials, people’s time, training, or getting an idea off the ground. We agree the scope in a short plain-English grant letter.
How long does a decision take?
We aim to give every applicant a clear answer within four weeks of receiving their application.
Can I reapply if unsuccessful?
Yes. We give brief feedback with every rejection so you can strengthen a reapplication. You can apply again in the same or following cycle.
