The Foundation opened for applications in June 2026. We are building a track record of funded projects and will publish updates here as they complete. Below is the kind of work our programmes are made for.
Local bakery cuts emissions by 40%
A Devon bakery switched to energy-efficient ovens and plastic-free packaging with a £4,500 grant — cutting energy costs and eliminating over 2,000 single-use plastic units per week. Illustrative example.
Digital skills for 40 young people in East London
A community group ran free coding and employability workshops for 40 out-of-work 18–24 year olds, 28 of whom entered employment or further training within six months. Illustrative example.
Surplus food turned into 1,200 meals per month
A Bristol social enterprise used a £9,000 grant to expand its kitchen capacity and distribution network, turning surplus supermarket food into affordable meals for local families in food poverty. Illustrative example.
Our approach to impact
What we measure, and what we don’t.
We ask every grantee for a short completion report — not a formal evaluation, not a 20-page impact assessment. A note on what happened: what was achieved, how the money was spent, and what they’d do differently.
We care about real-world outcomes, not metrics that are easy to measure but meaningless. A bakery cutting its waste by a specific percentage matters. A community group’s number of Instagram followers does not.
We also ask grantees who are willing to let us share what they achieved — so we can tell the story and fund more good work. We never publish without permission.
