CM Beyer pricing and engagement models

CM Beyer uses fixed-price proposals rather than open-ended hourly billing. This means you always know what you are paying before work begins.

Fixed-scope projects

Most engagements are priced as fixed-scope projects. You receive a written proposal with a clearly defined scope of work, specific deliverables, and a fixed fee. There are no surprise charges — the price in the proposal is the price you pay. If the scope needs to change during the engagement, we discuss it openly and agree any fee implications in writing before proceeding.

Retained support

Ongoing relationships are structured as monthly retainers with a defined scope of work. Typical retainers start from approximately £1,000 per month. The scope and fee are reviewed quarterly to ensure they remain aligned with your evolving needs.

Minimum engagement size

We do not have a formal minimum, but most project engagements start from approximately £2,500. If your needs are better served by a smaller or more specialist provider, we will tell you during the discovery conversation.

What is included in the fee

All fees include professional time, internal quality review, project management, and standard reporting. Travel expenses are quoted separately where applicable and always agreed in advance. Media spend (for CMB Amplify campaigns) is separate from management fees and is passed through at cost.

VAT

CM Beyer is VAT registered (GB 515 2896 78). All quoted fees are exclusive of VAT at 20% unless stated otherwise. VAT-registered clients can reclaim the VAT charged on their VAT return.

Payment terms

Standard payment terms are 14 or 30 days from invoice date, as specified in your engagement agreement. We accept payment by bank transfer. Details are shown on each invoice.
