CM Beyer Limited · Company No. 17009212 sales@cmbeyer.co.uk

On 30 April 2026, Credicorp Limited entered into a mutual trademark coexistence, consent and licensing agreement with CM Beyer Limited, a related company also incorporated in England and Wales. The agreement was negotiated through Trama Legal s.r.o., who represent both companies on intellectual property matters.

The two marks

Credicorp Limited is the registered proprietor of UK Trade Mark Registration No. UK00004156742 for the figurative mark CrediCorp, registered in Class 36 (financial services) and Class 45 (legal and personal services), with an effective date of 6 February 2025 and entered on the UK register on 23 May 2025.

CM Beyer Limited has filed UK Trade Mark Application No. UK00004379570 for the figurative mark CREDITCORP — with a “t” — in Class 35 (advertising and business administration) and Class 36 (financial services). The application was filed on 28 April 2026 and is presently before the UK Intellectual Property Office.

Why we have entered into the agreement

The two marks are visually and phonetically similar. To remove any uncertainty during the examination of the CreditCorp application, and to give both companies long-term legal certainty, we have:

  • given our unconditional consent to the registration of the CreditCorp application;
  • granted each other perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licences to use, sub-license and enforce each other’s marks; and
  • agreed that the CrediCorp mark and the CreditCorp mark will coexist in the United Kingdom and worldwide, without either company challenging the other’s rights.

The agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales and is intended to be perpetual.

What this means for our customers

For customers of Credicorp Limited, nothing changes. You will continue to deal with us under the CrediCorp brand at credicorp.co.uk. Your Business Loan Agreement, payment schedule, contact points and account history remain exactly as they are. Our company number (16093826), our registered office and our terms are unchanged. The way we assess applications, the products on offer, and the support we provide are all the same.

Over time you may encounter the CreditCorp brand in marketing or commercial contexts where CM Beyer Limited is operating. The agreement allows both brands to appear in the marketplace at the same time without dispute. If that situation ever changes, we will explain it here in the Newsroom.

If you are looking for the right company

If you have an account with us, that account remains with Credicorp Limited, company number 16093826, at credicorp.co.uk. Our existing article on who we are, and who we are not sets out how to distinguish us from similarly-named overseas firms; the new CreditCorp brand is a related United Kingdom company, distinct from the unconnected overseas businesses described in that article.

The full text of the coexistence agreement is held by our legal representative, Trama Legal s.r.o. (86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE), and is available for inspection where the law requires it.
