How we approach client confidentiality at CM Beyer
Every client engagement involves the exchange of sensitive information — financial data, commercial strategies, internal challenges, customer lists, and competitive intelligence. How a consultancy handles that information says more about its professionalism than any pitch deck.
Our commitments
All client information shared with CM Beyer is treated as confidential by default. We do not share client names, project details, or outcomes with third parties — including in case studies, marketing materials, or conversations with other clients — without explicit written consent.
Our team members are bound by confidentiality obligations as a condition of their engagement with the Company. This applies to employees, contractors, and any third-party specialists brought in to support a project.
Data handling
Client data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We maintain a record of processing activities, conduct data protection impact assessments where required, and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold.
We do not store client data longer than necessary for the purposes of the engagement, and we have clear retention and deletion policies in place.
Conflicts of interest
We actively manage conflicts of interest. If we are approached by a potential client whose interests may conflict with those of an existing client, we will disclose the potential conflict (without revealing confidential details) and, where necessary, decline the engagement. Integrity is not negotiable.
Raising concerns
If you have any concerns about how your information is being handled, or if you wish to make a data subject access request, please contact compliance@cmbeyer.co.uk.
