CM Beyer is committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
What we do
- Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy (h1, h2, h3) so screen readers can navigate content structure
- Alt text — descriptive text on all content-relevant images
- Colour contrast — our teal and dark colour scheme maintains WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are accessible by keyboard
- Form labels — all form fields have associated labels and clear error messages
- Responsive design — the website adapts to all screen sizes, from desktop to mobile
- No auto-playing media — we do not auto-play video or audio content
Standards
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across the website. Some pages — particularly those with complex data tables or interactive elements — may not fully meet every criterion, but we are working to improve these continuously.
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need any document in an alternative format (large print, plain text, or audio), please contact us and we will provide it.
Reporting an issue
If you experience any accessibility barrier on our website, email support@cmbeyer.co.uk with a description of the issue. We treat accessibility reports as a priority and aim to respond within 2 business days.
